About the Position:
SAIL is seeking qualified internal candidates for the full-time Regional Resource Development Specialist position within the waiver Program. The Regional Resource Development Specialist will provide technical assistance to provider agencies, conduct reviews of service plans and related documentation, and assist with data collection, reporting, and quality assurance activities. The position collaborates closely with service coordinators, providers, and RRDC team members to promote participant choice and program integrity. Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential, as occasional travel, evening, or weekend work may be required to meet program needs
Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical assistance to provider agencies
· Conduct reviews of service plans and related documentation
· Assist with data collection, reporting, and quality assurance activities
· Collaborate with service coordinators, providers, and RRDC team members to promote participant choice and program integrity
· Collaborate with other human service organizations and community partners.
· Assist with grant-related reporting requirements and data collection.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge on health insurance programs, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
· Performs other duties as assigned to support the organization’s goals.
· Assists with tasks and projects as needed across the department.
· Supports additional responsibilities that may arise in alignment with organizational needs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field required
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing information, linkage, and referral to community-based services and supports
· Knowledge of traumatic brain injury, physical disabilities, and aging
· Experience with Federal and State benefit and entitlement programs
· Ability to collaborate with community agencies and organizations.
· Strong written communication and computer literacy.
· Effective problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements:
This position may require flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on agency needs and outreach events. A reliable, functioning vehicle is required for travel. This position requires regular travel across 14 counties; reliable transportation and the ability to travel independently are essential. Must be able to be covered by agency insurance. -

About the Position:
The Community Health Advocate provides direct assistance to individuals and small businesses seeking to better understand and use their health insurance. The Advocate will help consumers access affordable care, resolve medical debt, dispute denials, and navigate insurance programs. The role includes public education, outreach, and policy feedback to improve health access in our community.
Key Responsibilities
Assist consumers in understanding, enrolling in, and using health insurance coverage.
Resolve billing issues, denials, and eligibility disputes.
Connect consumers to hospital and prescription financial assistance programs.
Educate consumers and small businesses about rights and responsibilities under health plans.
Conduct outreach and educational presentations in the community.
Maintain confidential records and track case outcomes using database systems.
Provide real-time feedback on trends and issues to help inform policy.
Collaborate with community partners and internal departments to maximize impact.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least two (2) years of experience providing person-centered, culturally competent, community-based services, preferably for low-income or Medicaid populations.
Experience working with health insurance companies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or seniors preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicare advantage plans.
Ability to collaborate effectively with community agencies and organizations.
Strong written communication and computer literacy.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

About the Position:
SAIL is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time 1115 Coordinator position within our Benefit Services department. This role will support the implementation of a new housing-focused program under the 1115 Medicaid Waiver, providing screenings, navigation, case management, and short-term financial assistance for eligible individuals.
The 1115 Medicaid Program is a fee-for-service program, designed to connect qualified Medicaid participants with services and supports related to Housing, Transportation, and Nutrition. The 1115 Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Director of Independent Living Services to ensure successful program implementation and alignment with agency and NYS Medicaid goals. This is a one-year pilot program, and while we’re optimistic about its long-term impact, the program’s continuation will depend on achieving its goals and demonstrating success.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement 1115 Waiver-funded services, including screenings, enhanced navigation, and case management.
Provide direct support to individuals and families to promote housing stability and access to services.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth program integration.
Assist with data collection, documentation, and reporting related to program requirements.
Participate in outreach efforts and informational sessions to raise awareness of program services.
Support billing for fee-for-service activities in compliance with program guidelines.
Support consumers with Independent Living goals.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s goals.
